Covid-19: Dubai parking fees, taxi fares return to normal rates

Dubai taxi fares and parking fees will return to normal rates on Sunday after having been decreased over the last several weeks, according to Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority.

In a tweet, the RTA said that parking fees will return to normal from 8 AM on Sunday, April 26 until 6 PM, with the second period from 8 PM until midnight.

Additionally, the RTA said that public transportation services will also resume on Sunday, now that restrictions aimed at preventing the spread of Covid-19 have been lifted.

The metro will operate from 7 AM to 11 PM.

In Abu Dhabi, public buses resumed operating on Saturday. The services had previously been suspended for 48 hours to allow authorities to sterilise vehicles.

Bus services in the UAE’s capital will resume from 6 AM to 8 PM in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and Al Dhafra.
