Kuwait's total number of Covid-19 cases now stands at 6,289
Kuwait has reported an additional 485 confirmed cases of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours, according to the state-run Kuna News Agency.
The country’s total number of Covid-19 cases now stands at 6,289.
Additionally, two more deaths were reported, bringing Kuwait’s coronavirus death toll to 42.
Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad, the spokesperson of Kuwait’s Health Ministry, said that a total of 4,028 patients are currently being treated for Covid-19 in Kuwaiti hospitals, Of these, 48 are in intensive care units, with 40 in critical condition.
Earlier in the day, Health Minister Dr. Basel Al-Sabah said that 187 patients had also recovered. The total number of recoveries in Kuwait now stands at 2,912.
Globally, there have been over 3.7 million confirmed cases of Covid-19, including more than 259,000 fatalities. Approximately 1.25 million people have recovered from the disease.
