Covid-19: Saudi Arabia announces 4,757 new cases, 48 deaths

Covid-19: Saudi Arabia announces 4,757 new cases, 48 deaths

Saudi Arabia has detected 4,757 new cases of Covid-19 in the kingdom, according to Saudi health authorities.

According to assistant minister of health and health ministry spokesperson Dr. Mohammed Al-Abdulaali, the total number of cases in Saudi Arabia now stands at 145,991.

Health authorities also said that 48 new deaths were reported. The kingdom’s total Covid-19 death toll now stands at 1,139.

Of the total, 50,937 are active cases that are receiving medical care. Of these, 1,877 are critical cases. The rest are in stable condition.

Additionally, Dr. Al-Abulaali said that 2,253 recoveries have been recorded, bringing the total to 93,915.

Globally, there have been over 8.57 million confirmed cases of Covid-19, including 456,291 deaths and 4.53 million recoveries.
