Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai will open the Federal National Council’s second ordinary session tomorrow on behalf of UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
The inauguration of the 18th legislative chapter will take place at the FNC headquarters, with Crown Princes, Deputy Rulers, Sheikhs, military and civic officials, and members of the diplomatic corps in attendance, the Dubai Media Office (DMO) said in a statement.
UAE Vice President to lead FNC session on President’s behalf
The ceremony will begin with FNC Speaker Saqr Ghobash and a committee of FNC members and the Secretary-General receiving Sheikh Mohammed at the council headquarters.
President Sheikh Mohamed issued Federal Decree No. 163 of 2024 to convene the session on November 25, 2024.
