India’s External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar will pay an official visit to Kuwait on August 18, the country’s foreign ministry announced on Thursday.
During the visit, Jaishankar will meet the Foreign Minister of Kuwait, Abdullah Ali Al-Yahya.
He is also expected to call on the leadership of the State of Kuwait.
The Indian foreign ministry said the minister’s visit will enable both sides to review various aspects of their bilateral relations including political, trade, investment, energy and security.
The two sides will also review bilateral cultural, consular and people-to-people contacts, as well as exchange views on regional and international issues of mutual interest, the ministry said.
