Officials reviewed Al Dahra’s plans to expand its business in Egypt

UAE-based agribusiness venture Al Dahra plans to expand its business in Egypt amid the African country’s bid to promote investments in different agricultural sectors.

A company delegation discussed its expansion plans in the country with the Egyptian Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade Hassan El-Khatib.

During the meeting, the minister also reviewed Al Dahra’s ongoing projects and future investments in Egypt, according to a statement.

The UAE company said Raouf Tawfik, who heads Al Dahra Egypt, had the honour of meeting with Minister Hassan El Khatib to discuss our vision for sustainable agriculture.

“We shared our plans to boost exports and adopt innovative farming methods.

“Excited to strengthen our partnership with Egypt and contribute to its food security,” Al Dahra said in a LinkedIn post.

The company said it is proud of its achievements and contributions to the Egyptian economy and agriculture.
