Private jet service for Abu Dhabi, Dubai

Al Yasi launches executive charter service out of Abu Dhabi and Dubai airports.

Al Yasi Group has launched a private jet aviation company, which will operate out of Abu Dhabi and Dubai airports, Gulf News said today.

Prestige Jet will provide a VIP service to meet growing demand for executive business charter travel in the Middle East, and the UAE in particular, according to managing director Faris Deeb.

"More and more people in the Middle East are recognising the advantages afforded by executive charter flights, and that this mode of transport is not just the exclusive domain of high net worth individuals," Deeb said.

The cost of chartering a business jet can be relatively cheap for a well-planned trip, contrary to popular belief, he added.

Prestige Jet will launch with two leased aircraft; a 10-seat Bombadier Challenger 604, which can fly non-stop to destinations including London, Rome and Bangkok, and an 8-seat Raytheon Hawker 800XP, suitable for travel within the Arab world.

The company will also offer help with hotels and transfer planning. It aims to double the fleet in the short-term, with plans for a further two aircraft due for delivery next year.
