Profiles flies national flag

Lebanon-based enterpries resource planning (ERP) specialist Profiles Software is using GITEX Technology Week to fly the flag for Lebanese business in the Middle East says Joe Hatem, general manager of Profiles.

Lebanon-based enterpries resource planning (ERP) specialist Profiles Software is using GITEX Technology Week to fly the flag for Lebanese business in the Middle East says Joe Hatem, general manager of Profiles.

"We decided we wanted to put our national flag up on our stand to show all of the people that come here that Lebanon is still present and still totally active," he says.

Our ERP business is basically everything companies need in the back end of their house to keep their businesses, running, be it logistics, HR, accounting, we have solutions for all of it, we've been doing it for over two decades so we're pretty good at it."

Hatem acknowledges how highly Profiles values the GITEX experience as a business tool.

"This event lets us meet our distributors and keep our profile up, we've been exhibiting for the last five years," he says. "The Middle East market accounts for 20% of our business so it really is the only place to be right now."
