Projects Ahoy!

Schon Properties, one of the early movers in Dubai’s freehold real estate market, has begun delivering projects to buyers, despite challenging economic climate.

The company last year delivered Schon Business Park, one of the largest projects at the Dubai Investment Park (DIP).

Schon’s biggest investment is a master development that consists of 51 buildings projects. The handover of the project is phases from the first quarter of 2017 till the third quarter of 2020.  It will be home to over 15,000 residents and tourists and comprises of total built-up area of 6,231,079 square feet. About 75 per cent of the land is dedicated to landscaping and open-areas, low-density community friendly living. A total of 390,000 cubic meters of concrete and 28,081,750 kilogrammes of steel are being used to build the whole project.

Total length of steel bars used in the project would be equal to twice the circumference of the planet.

The project hosts a number of facilities and amenities including swimming pools, shopping mall, exercise studios, tennis courts, 24 hour security, parking spaces, restaurants, cafes, religious centre, gardens, tranquility walks. The project is about one-third of the size of Jumeirah Beach Residence and almost equal to the size of Burj Khalifa in terms of built-up area.

The project was launched in January 2006, but a hold on the building permit was issued on March 2006 because of the Road and Transport Authority’s Purple Line of the Metro being incorporated in master plan.

In June 2013, the company had secured an investment of Dh339 million from the Dubai-based Xanadu Real Estate Development for the completion of the project.

The company also signed an agreement awarding a construction contract of Dh678 million to PGS Gulf Contracting Company for the project in Dubai Investment Park that was broken into seven phases.

Works are currently going in full swing with multiple contractors and civil enginneers are working day and night on site to deliver the project on time.

Schon Business Park

Schon Business Park is a 1.65 million square feet single-block largest development in Dubai Investments Park that has been delivered by the company in December 2015.

The project consists of offices, retail, 1,300 car parks, and 14 elevators.  It is one of the largest single-block office parks in Dubai.

Lotus Residences

Lotus Residences is an eight buildings cluster project situated on a man-made beach on the Crystal Lagoon, (B+G+7), comprising 442 apartments.

It is a high-end residential project located in Dubai Investments Park, next to Expo 2020 and Al Maktoum International Airport site. As of August 2016, the project is 85 per cent complete and is expected for handover Q1 2017.

Residents will have access to man-made beach in front of the buildings, leading to a serene family-friendly living environment. Project includes studio, one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and four-bedroom penthouse apartments.

Total built-up Area : 633,675 square feet.

Ava Residences

Ava Residences is a seven building project situated on a man-made beach on the Crystal Lagoon, (B+G+7), comprising 338 apartments. It is a high-end residential project located in Dubai Investments Park, next to Expo 2020 and Al Maktoum International Airport site.

Residents will have access to man-made beach in front of the buildings, leading to a serene family-friendly living environment.  Project includes studio, one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and four-bedroom penthouse apartments.

Total built-up Area : 561,043 square feet.

Rowan

Rowan is a 5 building project (2B+G+8), comprising 491 apartments. It is a high-end mixed-use residential project located in Dubai Investments Park, next to Expo 2020 and Al Maktoum International Airport site.

Project includes studio, one-bedroom, two-bedroom, three-bedroom, four-bedroom and eight-bedroom apartments, along with retail situated on ground floor, including health and fitness facilities, supermarkets, children’s nursery and cafes.

The project includes a G+3 VIP block, which comprise of the primest, waterfront apartments located on the Crystal Lagoon.

Total built-up Area : 728,013 Square Feet.

Winterberry

Winterberry is a 5 building project (2B+G+8), 491 apartments. It is a high-end mixed-use residential project located in Dubai Investments Park, next to Expo 2020 and Al Maktoum International Airport site.

Project includes studio, one-bedroom, two-bedroom, three-bedroom, four-bedroom and eight-bedroom apartments, along with retail situated on ground floor, including health and fitness facilities, supermarkets, children’s nursery and cafes.

The project includes a G+3 VIP block, which comprise of the primest, waterfront apartments located on the Crystal Lagoon.

Lily

Lily is a 5 building project (B+G+8), comprising 688 apartments. It is a high-end mixed-use residential project located in Dubai Investments Park, next to Expo 2020 and Al Maktoum International Airport site.

Project includes studio, one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and three-bedroom and four-bedroom penthouse apartments, along with retail situated on ground floor, including health and fitness facilities, supermarkets, children’s nursery and cafes.

Total built-up Area : 882,566 square feet.
