Azizi says it will deliver 1,744 units by the end of the year, on top of the 1,895 units across 12 projects it has delivered so far
Developments emphasising community and close proximity to the Expo 2020 Dubai site have led to an increase in investment potential for in Al Furjan, Azizi Group chairman Mirwais Azizi said.
“Al Furjan today has access to Dubai’s well-known hotspots and landmarks and has evolved to become one of the most successful residential projects within our portfolio,” Azizi told Arabian Business in an interview last week.
“We were the first to recognise this potential, and by the end of the year, we will deliver five projects with a total of 1,744 units,” he added.
Azizi’s upcoming projects in Al Furjan include Shaista Azizi, Samia Azizi, Azizi Star, Farishta Azizi and Azizi Plaza. The developer has so far delivered 12 projects with 1,895 units worth AED 2.3 billion, said Azizi.
“With the Route 2020 metro extension, that will eventually service the Expo 2020 site and the Al Maktoum International Airport, the attraction of Al Furjan as an investment has increased. Buyers and investors are slowly starting to recognise the significance of investing in this area,” he said.
The construction arm of Azizi Group, Azizi Developments will look to deliver nearly all of its projects by Expo 2020, added Azizi. “[After that] we will consider expansion in other emirates such as Abu Dhabi,” he said.
