Publishing company in DMC

Publishing house, Saudi Research and Publishing Company, is moving its operations to Dubai Media City in June this year

Saudi Research and Publishing Company is establishing a new operational base in Dubai Media City in June 2001. The move is designed to allow the company to more easily cover the whole of the Gulf region with its newspapers. It also plans to enhance its content development with a larger editorial team. “The announcement of our Dubai-based initiative comes as a result of the initial talks between His Highness General Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and UAE Minister of Defence and His Highness Prince Ahmed bin Salman bin Abdul Aziz, Chairman of SRPC,” said Abdul Rehman Al Rashid, chief editor of Asharq Al Awsat. Daily newspapers, Asharq Al Awsat, Malayalam News and Urdu News will be printed and published from the new base and distributed around the region. “As Dubai’s economy strengthens on the base of diversified industries, we belive SRPC’s presence is essential to promote our growth and stay ahead of the game,” said Rashid.
