Shortage of aircraft forces carrier to push back start of service by a month till December.
A shortage of aircraft has forced Qatar Airways to delay to launch of flights to Houston until December - a month later than scheduled.
The airline originally planned to start its Houston service on Nov. 10, but the second of two Boeing 777-200 LR planes that will be used on the route will not be delivered until December, Qatari daily The Peninsula reported on Thursday.
Qatar Airways will now begin its three times weeky service to Houston on Dec. 8, with plans to take it daily in the New Year as more aircraft are added.
