Qatar Airways and Royal Jordanian have signed a code-share agreement, according to the Qatari airline said.

Both are already members of the global oneworld alliance, which also includes American Airlines and British Airways, and the new agreement means flights between Doha and Amman will have the same airline code.

Passengers also would be able to use both airlines’ frequent flyer programs.

The carriers also are discussing additional codeshare opportunities, including potentially on flights to the US and Asia, Qatar Airways said.
