Qatar launch premium sales office

Qatar Airways opened its new sales, reservations and ticketing office in Doha today.

Qatar Airways opened its new sales, reservations and ticketing office in Doha today.

The office, located in Umm Ghuwailina, has been deigned to fulfil the needs of passengers travelling first and business class. Qatar's Civil Aviation Authority chairman, Abdul Aziz Al Nuaimi was present during the official opening, which included a ribbon and cake-cutting ceremony.

The airline's management feels it is a natural progression from the premium passenger terminal, which opened in December 2006. The office will be open seven days a week, with shorter working hours on Friday.

Qatar Airways CEO, Akbar Al Baker said: "The sales office is yet another unique feature offered by Qatar Airways, exclusively for our first and business class passengers. From the moment our customers step into the office, they will be assured a hassle-free experience with minimal waiting time."
