The UAE will experience rain and dust from Wednesday November 23 to Friday November 25, forecasters have warned.
Residents with respiratory illnesses, especially those living in the norther and eastern parts of the country, have been advised to take precautions, reported Gulf News.
“The country is under the influence of north-easterly and north-westerly wind — fresh to strong at times in the northern and eastern parts of the UAE. Ras Al Khaimah and neighbouring areas will experience dusty conditions on Wednesday and Thursday,” a forecaster from the National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS) said.
“This instability in weather will be limited to coastal areas and over the islands where a low pressure exists,” he said.
He added the northern parts of the Arabian Gulf extending until Dubai and the Oman Sea will see rough offshore waves reaching 7 feet to 10 feet in height during the three days.
Rain is expected on Thursday and Friday as clouds will increase on Wednesday in the northern and eastern parts of the UAE and will gradually approach some coastal areas between Abu Dhabi and Dubai, and Ras Al Khaimah and Dubai, said the forecaster.
However, the temperature is expected to remain the same where coastal area will experience an average of 28 degree Celsius to 30C while internal areas will witness 30C to 32C. Mountain regions will have an average of 23C to 26C.For all the latest business news from the UAE and Gulf countries, follow us on Twitter and Linkedin, like us on Facebook and subscribe to our YouTube page, which is updated daily.
