Rain is expected to fall in most parts of the UAE over the next two days, according to forecasts from the country’s National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS).
The agency says showers are likely over Dubai and the Northern Emirates on Wednesday and Thursday, thanks to the effects of a low pressure system.
Rain is also expected along the Abu Dhabi coast as far as the border with Saudi Arabia.
The weather will remain unsettled into Thursday, with Dubai and the Northern Emirates again expected to receive the heaviest rainfall.
On Tuesday night, flooding was reported after heavy rains in some parts of Fujairah. For all the latest business news from the UAE and Gulf countries, follow us on Twitter and Linkedin, like us on Facebook and subscribe to our YouTube page, which is updated daily.
