RAK Properties launches phase 2 of Flamingo Villas project

RAK Properties has announced the launch of the second phase of its Flamingo Villas project, part of the Mina Al Arab development in Ras Al Khaimah.

The master developer of the coastal residential project also said that construction of the first phase of the project has progressed as scheduled, with the handover of units expected by the end of this year.

The developer said that demand for the first phase of Flamingo Villas had been "exceptional", adding that it expected "even greater interest for the second phase" which comprises 57 villas.

The Flamingo Villas project is a series of villas overlooking the Gulf and the Mina Al Arab Lagoon. Each unit will offer a sea view of the RAK coastline.

Mohammed Sultan Al Qadi, managing director and CEO of RAK Properties said: "The Flamingo Villas project is certain to live up to everyone's expectations of it being one of Ras Al Khaimah's landmark developments.

"By the end of this year we hope to hand over the keys to the owners of villas from the first phase, and today we are excited to launch the second phase of this exquisitely designed project that will allow residents to enjoy the very best that nature has to offer."

RAK Properties launched Mina Al Arab - spread over 43 million sq ft at a cost of AED10 billion ($2.72 billion) - in May 2006.
