Professional mission

Be wise, prioritise

Professional mantra

Enthusiasm is the baking powder of life. Without it, you're flat; with it, you rise.

Alarm goes off. BBC News echoing in the corridor from the sitting room.

Head to the shower while my head starts spinning with the various tasks at hand for the day.

Get a cup of coffee from the second floor of the Pikasso building while waiting for my computer to boot up. Organise my schedule, go over meetings and ensure mail is prepared and distributed to agencies or clients.

My day has officially started our new rate card for year 2007 has been distributed just yesterday.

First meeting with a new real estate company that has just opened in Jordan. A complete PowerPoint presentation has been made and a briefing from the client has been delivered for an expected outdoor campaign.

Second meeting, with a major advertising agency. A briefing for a new bank re-branding campaign has also been delivered which has been set under option to be confirmed in two days.

Next stop is another agency to deliver the booking orders and proposal of locations for their campaign.

In the office, securing networks on the reservation grid for the confirmed campaigns and options taken by several agencies and clients during the day. Receive a quick message from my fiancé all the way from Saudi. He's my balance for each day-

An international phone call incoming it's one of our main agencies from Beirut following up on their campaign scheduled for next week. Discussions concerning exceptional billposting procedures have been clarified and confirmed.

Brief the CEO on today's events and new bookings. It's quiet in the office and time to switch on Norah Jones and work on the new 2007 Pikasso Jordan catalogue.

At Vinaigrette for sushi with some friends. A few orders of tuna tataki, several sushi orders and a bottle of wine.

Back home. Just closed the line with my fiancé and glad it's Friday tomorrow.
