Pixel ... a mixed-use development, houses interactive public spaces and was built for entrepreneurs.

Set to be the pulsating heart of the capital is IMKAN’s Makers District. Pixel stands as human-scale within the vibrant hub and is made up of seven unconventionally designed towers fitted with 525 residential units surrounding an active pedestrianised plaza.

The mixed-use development, houses interactive public spaces and was built for entrepreneurs, SME’s, artists, curators, tastemakers and anyone that craves an energetic and creative lifestyle.

IMKAN’s research shows that communities across the globe thrive in locations where creativity can be cultivated, expressed and nurtured. Buyers today are searching for developments that bring in value over time and make economic sense. They’re looking for neighborhoods they can explore by foot, spaces to exercise, areas where they can both express and absorb creativity.

Pixel Central Plaza

With research taking a major role in every step of the development process, Makers District was architecturally designed using the principles of placemaking and the ‘walkability’ factor is ingrained throughout the entire destination. The pedestrianised pathway acts as a connective spine allowing residents to walk from their home in Pixel to Reem Island’s first accessible beach within a residential community and IMKAN’s hybrid parking garage and creative hub, The-Artery.

Like every IMKAN project, the Abu Dhabi-based place-maker focused on the most valuable component when designing the mixed-use development - the residents and visitors that will make up the vibrant community. Pixel responds to their desires with Forward Living.
