Spanish football club Real Madrid could take disciplinary action against its forward Karim Benzema after going skydiving during his recent visit to Dubai.

The French international was in the city for his side’s recent friendly against AC Milan, which the Italian side won 4-2.

Following the match, Benzema stayed on for a holiday in Dubai, taking in some of the city’s activities, including a skydive at SkyDive Dubai.

According to Spanish sports newspaper Marca, there’s a code of conduct in place at Real Madrid that prohibits its players from engaging in activities that are deemed too dangerous, which would mean that Benzema could be facing disciplinary action for his skydive in Dubai.

Marca reports that Madrid midfielder Asier Illarramendi was punished last season after he took part in a bull run in his native Basque country, while goalkeeper Iker Casillas has been previously disciplined for travelling via scooter with his girlfriend Sara Carbonero.
