World IT Systems, a Polish provider of innovative infrastructure solutions for medium to large enterprises, is using GITEX Technology Week to showcase a selection of its specific solutions.

"Since GITEX is the biggest IT exhibition in the region, it is by far the best gateway to introduce our new technologies," explains Christoph Lewandowski, World IT Systems' vice president. "In addition, the Middle East's reputation as an ‘early adapters' region makes it uniquely open to some of the most innovative and sophisticated solutions in the world."

During GITEX, World IT Systems will be rolling out its Azul Systems Compute Appliance, which the firm claims represents a quantum performance improvement over the more traditional methods of operating Java-based applications.

Its BlueArc solution currently holds the storage-related world record through its ability to maintain a sustained performance level of around 12,500 SPEC mail messages per minute.
