The next generation of entrepreneurs are being encouraged to apply for a place on the third entrepreneurship diploma programme, organised by The Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Establishment for Small and Medium Enterprises Development.
The establishment, part of the Dubai Department of Economic Development, will open registration on Monday, for the duration of one week.
The programme aims to equip potential entrepreneurs with practical knowledge to help them launch and manage their own successful business, as well as exposing candidates to the real world of business and encouraging them to adopt a hands-on approach.
Leading industry practitioners and successful entrepreneurs will be part of the course faculty, giving participants the benefit of their experience, and helping generate meaningful brainstorming sessions between instructors and students.
One of the key topics on the course will be business plans, with an emphasis on learning how to create them, translate them into actual projects, and lead them to success through strategic management, marketing and accounting.
Each candidate will develop their own business plan which will be assessed and graded by instructors.
