The Invest World Expo not only connected property developers and investors last month, but also supported charitable causes through a fundraising dinner and auction.
Hosted on April 23 in Dubai, the event concluded with a gala dinner organised in collaboration with charity platform Tooba.
The dinner featured a live auction of exclusive sports memorabilia signed by MMA champions Islam Makhachev and Khabib Nurmagomedov.

“Tooba’s participation in Invest World Expo Dubai 2024 emphasises our continued commitment to contribute to communities around the world,” said Tooba’s founder and CEO Ramazan Medjidov.
“We are grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with Invest World Expo and our partners such as the Al Jalila Foundation in our quest for positive change,” he added.
Three main lots were up for bid: UFC gloves signed by Islam Makhachev, Khabib Nurmagomedov’s autographed book, and a second pair of gloves worn by Khabib. The items held special significance – Makhachev’s gloves were from a title victory, while Khabib’s book detailed his journey in the sport.

Bidding started at AED 2,000-3,500 for the items. Makhachev’s gloves sold for AED 6,000, Khabib’s book went for AED 4,000, and his other gloves achieved the highest bid of AED 16,000 from entrepreneur Jemal Rzgo.
In total over AED 26,000 was raised through the auction. Proceeds will benefit the Al Jalila Foundation, the UAE’s leading healthcare organisation for the community, through the Tooba platform.
The event highlighted how Invest World Expo brought together property deals, networking, and charitable fundraising to support important causes – continuing its mission of creating opportunities for both businesses and beneficiaries.
