Gulfood returns to Dubai in Feb, set to attract 98,000 visitors
In 2018 Gulfood set records with 97,000 visitors attending and over 5,000 companies from over 185 different countries exhibiting their products.

Up to 98,000 visitors and 5,000 exhibitors are expected to attend the world's largest annual food and beverages trade show in Dubai.

Gulfood returns to the emirate on February 17-21 with a new show experience - The World of Food. The World of Good.

Celebrating its 24th edition in 2019, Gulfood attracts F&B professionals from all over the world to Dubai.

Since its launch in 1987, the exhibition has grown to promote F&B trade between more than 180 countries annually.

In 2018 Gulfood set records with 97,000 visitors attending and over 5,000 companies from over 185 different countries exhibiting their products.

The event attracts buyers not only from the Gulf region but also from all over the Middle East and North Africa region (MENA).

Figures released by Dubai Customs for Gulfood held in 2018 revealed that Dubai imports reached AED27.68 billion, exports touched AED7.71 billion, and re-exports recorded AED8.84 billion.

Rice took the lion’s share of foodstuff trade with AED2.43 billion, followed by milk with AED2.13 billion, sugar with AED2.02 billion, nuts with AED1.71 billion, and chocolate with AED1.55 billion.

India was named Dubai’s biggest partner in foodstuff trade in the first half of 2018 with AED3.84 billion, followed by Iraq (AED2.57 billion), the US (AED2.36 billion), and Oman (AED1.58 billion).
