Expansion of Red Sea Mall of Jeddah, which began in 2014, has been completed in three phases

Red Sea Mall is one of the largest malls in Jeddah with 521 shops.

The Red Sea Mall of Jeddah, owned by Red Sea Markets Company Ltd, has announced the completion of an $80 million expansion project, which began in 2014.

The expansion, which took place in three phases, included a smart parking building, the expansion of gates 1, 2 and 3 and the Plaza containing cinemas.

Al Rayan Gadouri, general manager of Red Sea Mall, said: "This expansion, which exceeded SR300 million, is in line with the progressive growth of the retail sector and is designed to meet the needs of the kingdom's residents and visitors, while contributing towards the Saudi Vision 2030."

The total area of the new expansion is 8,000 square metres including a retail space of 500 square metres, and areas for cinemas, children's entertainment and other facilities and services.

The expansion project also includes seating and a shaded area.

Red Sea Mall is one of the largest malls in Jeddah with 521 shops.
