Retailer Landmark unveils Ibn Battuta Mall store that mixes online and offline worlds
Landmark Group’s Centrepoint has launched its first Store of the Future at Ibn Battuta Mall in Dubai, bringing together both the online and offline worlds.
Spanning across 42,384 sq ft, the launch of the new store marks a "significant step" forward in the company’s customer-centric omnichannel strategy, a statement said.
It said the store has open and clear walkways with digital interfaces and LED screens and has been designed keeping customer convenience at heart.
New features at the store also include mobile cashiers to enable faster and easier checkouts and an exclusive mother and baby room.
The brand has also introduced dedicated personal stylists on-call in the store to assist shoppers and a coffee station.
Simon Smith, chief operating officer, Centrepoint, said: “We are very excited to announce the launch of our first-ever ‘Store of the Future’ in the UAE.
"Throughout the store, we have introduced several new elements to offer an all-new shopping experience and delight our customers.”
Home to some of the group’s most popular concepts - Babyshop, Splash, Lifestyle, Shoemart - Centrepoint currently operates 144 stores across seven countries.
