Dubai earns more Brownie Points with planned expansion

Cakes and desserts favourite set to open three new stores in Dubai

Dubai earns more Brownie Points with planned expansion

Brownie Point is to open three new outlets in Dubai.

Founded in 1997, the cakes and desserts favourite currently has five shops in the emirate.

Rajbir Kohli, managing director, told Arabian Business: “This will take a store count to eight outlets and we will be able to serve every corner of Dubai adequately.”

While also strengthening its online presence, Kohli revealed plans to franchise the business to other parts of the UAE, with a strong focus on Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and Ajman.

“This will help us expand our foot-print across UAE by delegating the retail operations to franchise partners while retaining and maintaining a close grip on manufacturing our products,” he said.

And he said they were keen to tailor their offerings to the increasingly complex dietary requirements of customers.

He added: “With fitness being adopted on a macro level in the UAE, we’re noticing customers being more and more conscious on what they’re consuming and switching to healthier alternatives and diets. Which is why, we are also adjusting our offerings accordingly and incorporating different variants in desserts, which include vegan, gluten-free, sugar-free, Keto-based deserts to suit the needs of our customers.”
