Top fashion designer joins Dubai investment firm as director

Al Ali is a Syrian-born fashion designer, based in Dubai. where in 2000 the Rami Al Ali Couture brand was founded.

Rami Al Ali, a fashion designer sought out by celebrities such as Beyonce and Jennifer Lopez, has been appointed as a director of Millennial Beauty, a dedicated investment holding company which is managed by Dubai-based Millennial Capital.

Al Ali, named among the top 100 most influential leaders by Arabian Business, said: “I feel privileged to join the board of directors of Millennial Beauty, a very promising prosper firm. I will be invested heavily for the growth of this venture.”

Millennial Beauty operates and develops one of the most valuable beauty franchises in the world, O Boticario, in the UAE and in other Gulf countries.

Since inception in 2018, the company has developed 35 points of sale across channels across stores, e-commerce, pharmacy and distribution managed by 75 employees.

“We are delighted to welcome Mr Rami Al Ali to our board of directors and we believe his expertise in fashion and beauty will have an outstanding contribution to our approach towards developing our beauty franchise in the region.” said Andreea Danila, executive board member of Millennial Beauty.

Al Ali is a Syrian-born fashion designer, based in Dubai. where in 2000 the Rami Al Ali Couture brand was founded.

His ultimate breakthrough came in 2009, when he showcased his spring/summer couture collection on the runway at Rome's AltaRoma couture week.

In January 2012, he debuted at the Couture Fashion Week in Paris alongside International designers such as Elie Saab, Chanel, Valentino and Dior.
