The Dubai Mall’s online store is now live on Noon.com with a wide variety of brands now available for delivery in the UAE, it was announced on Tuesday.
Announced in late March, the virtual store is meant to serve as an e-commerce solution to support the mall’s tenants in the wake of business challenges related to the Covid-19 crisis.
The store will also allow customers to shop online for goods available at some of the outlet’s over 1,300 stores.
Currently, 24 brands of various kinds are available, including Jumbo, Reebok Classics, Steve Madden, Ted Baker, GO Sports and Dyson. More stores are expected to be added on a daily basis and tenants at Dubai Mall are being encouraged to sign up.
“Serving our customers within the context of the current situation is a challenge we set out to overcome,” said Mohamed Alabbar, chairman of Emaar and founder of noon.com, was quoted as saying by Arabian Business sister publication Grazia Middle East. “Our agile teams adapted quickly, anticipating and responding to the needs residents across the emirate while abiding by the government mandate to stay home.”
“I’m proud of this collaboration and believe that the Dubai Mall shopping experience on noon.com is a testament to the power of digital transformation across our ecosystem,” Alabbar added.
