Visitors and staff will be required to wear a mask and gloves to ensure the health and safety of visitors and employees
The Arabian Centres Company (ACC) has announced that it will re-open 20 shopping centres in 10 Saudi cities from Wednesday, April 29 to May 13, the company said on Tuesday.
In a statement, ACC said that the firm is currently conducting a sterilisation programme of its network ahead of the re-openings.
Visitors and staff will be required to wear a mask and gloves to ensure the health and safety of visitors and employees.
Arabian Centres will open to the public between 930 AM and 430 PM for Ramadan shoppers. Cinemas, entertainment facilities, hairdressers and beauty salons will remain closed.
Cafes and restaurants will only provide delivery services from 3 PM to 3 AM.
“We will ensure the highest standards of health and safety are in place as we continue to make sure the welfare of our customers and staff remains our priority and we look forward to welcoming back our customers and serving our local communities,” CEO Olivier Nougarou said.
“As we prepare to welcome our customers back to our shopping centres on Wednesday, we do ask that they take note of the health and safety precautions in place to wear a mask and gloves and to keep to appropriate social distancing while shopping,” he added.
