Customers aged over 60 can email their orders to Spinneys ahead of a new e-commerce service being rolled out
Spinneys Dubai has introduced a new ordering service for customers aged over 60.
At the start of the month, UAE health authorities introduced a rule that prohibited children under 12 and people aged over 60s from entering malls, supermarkets and shops in the UAE to help curb the spread of Covid-19.
The Ministry of Health and the National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority said the restrictions were put in place to in order to protect their safety and health.

As a result of age restrictions, we have introduced a special assisted service for our loyal customers over 60 whilst we work to get our e-commerce system live. . . To place an order, email your shopping list, preferred store for collection, contact name, number and desired collection time to customerservice@finefarefood<dot>com . . It would be helpful if you could mention the brand and size of the products you need . Our store team will then contact you when the order is ready for collection.
In a new move announced today, however, Spinneys Dubai has introduced a “special assisted service” for customers over 60 while its works on getting its e-commerce system live.
Customers can email email their shopping list, preferred store for collection, contact name, number and desired collection time to email@example.com. Customers are asked to mention the brand and size of the products need.
“Our store team will then contact you when the order is ready for collection,” the message on social media said.
