Dubai Summer Surprises to begin on July 9

A number of additional safeguard measures will be put in place to protect the public amid the Covid-19 pandemic

Dubai Summer Surprises to begin on July 9

The annual Dubai Summer Surprises event will begin on July 9 with a number of additional safety measures in place to safeguard the public amid the Covid-19 pandemic, the Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DRFE) announced on Monday.

The announcement comes as the DFRE announced a series of summer campaigns, which include Dubai Summer Surprises, Eid Al Adha, and Back to School, or BTS.

“This year, more than ever, we look forward to welcoming back the city’s residents and visitors to Summer in Dubai, while ensuring their health and safety remain our highest priority,” said Ahmed Al Khaja, CEO of the DFRE.

“Through additional safety measures put in place across malls and retail stores, Dubai will once again be the place to be this summer season, and we look forward to another successful and safe edition of DSS, alongside the other summer festivals,” he added. “As the city thrives, we will bring back our popular events and promotions over the course of seven action-packed weeks.”

Ahead of the festival, a full-calendar of events will be announced on www.dubaisummersurprises.com and @DSSsocial.
