He is cited as the man who changed the face of Arab media. In 1991, as MBC Group’s chairman and CEO, Sheikh Waleed Al Ibhraim launched the first independent Arabic satellite TV station. Over subsequent decades, the station has introduced several movie and Arabic TV series channels, including MBC 2, MBC 3 and MBC 4. Born and raised in Saudi Arabia, Al Ibrahim established ARA Productions and Television Studios.
