Television journalist and host Huda Kotb was born to Egyptian parents, though she has spent most of her life in the US. She has been most successful as the co-host of NBC’s Today Show with Kathie Lee Gifford; the pair won a Daytime Emmy Award in 2010.
Kotb is also a correspondent for Dateline NBC, a reality legal show. She has written three books including bestseller Huda: How I survived War Zones, Bad Hair, Cancer and Kathie Lee. She became an advocate for breast cancer awareness after she was diagnosed with the disease and allowed the Today Show to film her battle, including when she was declared cancer-free.
