From Sri Lanka to Thailand, top destinations for short breaks during the Eid al-Adha weekend
The annual celebration of Eid al-Adha falls on the 10th day of the 12th and final Islamic month – Dhu al-Hijah. During the ‘festival of sacrifice’, Muslims honour the willingness of Prophet Ibrahim (PBUH) to sacrifice everything for his religion, including his own son Ismael. While travel prices admittedly spike during the period, we’ve found five good-value three- to five-night packages to ensure you don’t get ripped off.
