Rolls Royce flat out

Factory at Goodwood is working at full production to meet unprecedented customer demand.

In the run-up to the launch of the Drophead Coupé in the Middle East, Rolls Royce Motor Cars announced that their manufacturing plant in the UK is working at full capacity to meet demand. Additional shifts and extended working hours have been introduced and will continue throughout the remainder of the year.

This level of demand is reflected in the quarterly sales figures, also announced today. By the end of September 2007 the company had retailed 22 per cent more cars compared to the same period last year with demand for all models increasing. Forward orders for the four-door models stretch well into 2008 and for the new Phantom Drophead Coupé, extend right through next year.
