Rotana’s Zen spa set for April launch

Rotana Resort & Spa in Fujairah has announced it is ready to unveil its much-hyped ‘Zen the spa’ this April.

Touted as the most modern and best equipped spa on the Eastern Coast of the UAE, 'Zen the spa at Rotana' will cover 1400sqm and comprise 17 treatment rooms, one VIP suite and a built-in hydro-therapy jet bath and relaxation areas.

"Zen is a holistic philosophy portrayed as a retreat and will be a complete heaven for the mind, body and spirit. Our goal is to provide each guest with ‘me time' to rebalance and rejuvenate," explained Jean-Francois Laurent, general manager of Fujairah Rotana Resort & Spa.

"Our highly skilled therapists will serve a wide range of treatments, including body relaxation techniques, facials and hand & foot massages, various hammam and rasul programmes and last but not least the first ‘Ice cave' in Al Aqah," he added.

The beachfront resort is located between the Hajar Mountains and the Indian Ocean and includes a water sports center and two luxury massage cabanas.

Rotana Hotels currently manages 25 properties throughout the Middle East and has aggressive expansion plans to double the size of its portfolio with a further 35 projects in the pipeline - 10 of which are set to open in 2008.
