Royal Group goes for Orion

The Royal Group of Companies, a leading furniture manufacturer in the UAE, is set to deploy Orion to support the company’s growing business demands and to update its internal IT management infrastructure.

The Royal Group of Companies, a leading furniture manufacturer in the UAE has begun an Orion implementation to support the company’s growing business demands and to update its internal IT management infrastructure. The enterprise business solution from ICICI Infotech is intended to integrate the company's financial, manufacturing and operations solution with its online system. This in turn, will allow the company’s employees and management to information about sales forecasting, cost monitoring, inventory, purchase and distribution cycles so as to enable more effective cost controls and timely business analysis.“ICICI Infotech met our criteria for a partner who had a strong local presence in the market and an insight into the specific needs of the manufacturing and distribution industries when it comes to business management solutions,” says Sugathan Janardhanan, managing director, Royal Group of Companies. “Orion meets our business requirements today with full capabilities of scaling to meet our business needs and budgets in the future,” he adds.The Orion solution will enable the company to better track the profitability of each project or order by providing detailed management information reports and analysis. It will also manage and track the work-in-progress and cost of a project, which in some instances can span over several locations and financial years. The implementation is scheduled for completion within six months.“Once the Orion implementation is complete, Royal Group of Companies will enjoy significant ROI, and competitive advantage in terms of their service offering to their customers in the market whilst experiencing significant cost savings,” says Hari Padmanabhan, President, ICICI Infotech MEA.
