Wind is expected to stir up dust in the UAE on Thursday as wet weather is forecast in parts of the country.

The National Centre for Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS) has urged the motorists to exercise caution, reduce the speed and leave enough distance between vehicles, reported Khaleej Times.

The difficult weather conditions could be caused by strong northwesterly winds, the NCMS said in a statement.

Weather late on Thursday could be wet on the west coast due to a gradual decrease in coastal temperatures.

The statement warned that Gulf seas could be rough in the evening. Seafarers should check for updates on its website or by calling the toll-free phone number, it said.
