Saudi Aramco, the world’s biggest oil producer, is working on a long term strategy to reduce its greenhouse gas emissions, an official from the company’s EXPEC Advanced Research Center said.

Saudi Aramco is looking at are capturing carbon dioxide from industrial plants, capturing the gas from vessels, converting the gas into marketable products, using it for enhanced oil recovery, and storing it underground, Samer al Ashgar said at a conference in Abu Dhabi today. (Reuters)
