Saudi Business Machines awards top partners

Saudi Business Machines, the general marketing and service representative of IBM in the Kingdom has held its annual partner awards and meeting in Jeddah

Saudi Business Machines (SBM) the general marketing and services representative of IBM, has recognised the achievements of its outstanding business partners at its Business Partner Annual Meeting in Jeddah. Eighty partner companies were present at the meeting, held at the Intercontinental Hotel Jeddah, to discuss SBM’s channel objectives and marketing strategies.Mahmoud Farghaly, country manager, GMB, PCD and Channels at SBM said: “Every year, this event proves to be very valuable in strengthening our relationship with the reseller channel, and gives our partners an opportunity to network with each other and find potential synergies. Our partners are the first line for customer service. Meeting with our partners regularly strengthens our ties and helps SBM tailor its support to better service IBM/SBM business in the Kingdom.”The partner awards included Top Service Partner, which was awarded to Computer Advanced Systems; Top Lotus Software Partner which was won by Modern Computers & Communications Company; Top Reseller GMB, won by 3i Solutions; Top Reseller Retailer, won by Jarir Bookstore, and Fastest Growing Partner, which went to Global Arabian for Modern Application.“I am delighted to have won this award. It is the fruits of our efforts to continually invest in our knowledge and skills, and build on the support that SBM has been providing us in our years working together,” said Mahmoud El-Leissy, general manager of Advanced Computer Technology, which received the Top Channel Partner award during the event. “Whether it is in sales or marketing support, logistics or technical know-how, SBM has always been a staunch supporter for ACT and its customers.”
