The kingdom had previously only allowed seasonal workers related to Haj
The Saudi cabinet has approved new temporary and seasonal work visas, allowing them to be issued for a wider variety of jobs.
Previously, seasonal work visas could only be issued for work related to Haj, the annual pilgrimage that typically requires an influx of workers for a few months of the year, but will now be available year-round, Arab News reported.
New fees also were set at SR1000 ($266).
