Four workers were helping to construct a new campus building when they became trapped under the rubble
A university building has collapsed in Saudi Arabia, seriously injuring four people, according to local media.
The injured were workers helping to construct a new building at Qassim University, in the kingdom’s centre.
They were trapped under the rubble before being rescued, Arab News said. Details of their injuries were not reported.
The incident has led activists to call for the contracting company to be prosecuted for failing to protect the safety of its workers.
