Saudi Arabian Airlines delayed a flight on Tuesday because a passenger claimed he dreamt the plane would crash, Saudi Gazette reported.

The flight was scheduled to take off from King Khaled International Airport in Riyadh on Tuesday morning when a passenger got out of his seat and reportedly yelled: “I dreamt that this plane would crash”.

The incident caused the plane to be evacuated while authorities conducted a security check.

The man was arrested by police, the newspaper said.

A passenger told local media other passengers on board became scared.

“The passengers were afraid because of this and left the plane to wait inside the airport,” the passenger was quoted as saying.

Saudi spokesman Waleed Aloloumi said the flight took off from Riyadh for Jeddah after the security check.
