Seagate boosts Saudi channel with RMA facility

Seagate expands Saudi services with opening of RMA collection point

Hard drive specialist Seagate has announced the opening of a collection point in Saudi Arabia, a move which it claims will aid its distribution and reseller channel in the Kingdom.

According to the vendor the collection point demonstrates its commitment to providing ‘best-in-class' support to partners across the MEA region and its recognition of Saudi as a key regional market. The collection point processes Return Material Authorisation (RMA) disk drives at one central point under the company's warranty programme.

"Our authorised partners can now process returned drives much more quickly and in a more economical way which benefits both them and their customers," said Mark Whitby, Seagate executive director for FSU, Middle East and Africa.

"Combined with our five-year warranty on Seagate disc drive products, the establishment of the Riyadh centre demonstrates Seagate's commitment to partners in the region. We will continue to introduce new service programmes which will enable our partners to offer not just the best products and technology but the best end-to-end customer experience," he added.
