Sharaftravel scores Kempinski deal
Sharaf: Sharaftravel will represent Kempinski Hotels in the UAE and Oman.

Sharaftravel is set to launch a central reservations system for German hotel operator, Kempinski Hotels.

The reservation facility will be housed at Sharaftravel’s 12 branches across the UAE and Oman, providing travellers and travel agents with a one-stop-shop to make bookings at Kempinski properties worldwide.

“Kempinski’s distinctive collection of hotels appeals to our clients, so we have decided to set up this central reservation office to make available to them what we believe to be a very exceptional hospitality experience,” said Salah Sharaf, chairman, Sharaftravel.

The agency is Kempinski’s sole GSA in the UAE and Oman.

Some of Sharaftravel’s other high-profile partners include Virgin Atlantic and Delta Airlines.

According to Samer Achcar, area director of sales, Middle East, Kempinski Hotels, travel agents have already shown an interest in the service, allowing them to collect vouchers for the group’s properties from any Sharaftravel office.
