Siemens wants to help people express themselves better. Or at least, that’s the claim its making with its M55 tri-band GSM phone, which incorporates its “Cubasis mobile” feature, a polyphonic synthesizer application which allows personal tracks to be composed and mixed on the move. The M55 also has a range of other data functions, including Java technology and an email client. Data can be synchronised using the Siemens Data Suite, or at point of activity using SyncML support. Addresses and appointments, soundfiles, digital photos, SMS and MMS can be stored in the memory. The phone also features an optional QuickPic camera and integrated flash, and a range of pre-installed games, including Cliff Diving, Skateboarding and Mountain Biking. Other games can be downloaded via GPRS.
