Sky Electronics has introduced server systems based on AMD's brand new Opteron quad-core processors.

The company claims it is the first integrator in the region to offer products based on AMD's latest piece of silicon.

"GITEX is an important platform for us, as a leading systems integrator and distributor in this region, to showcase our range of products," explains Manoj Thacker, managing director of Sky Electronics.

"It's a great event to launch new products, address queries, and add business value to our customers, in addition to listening and adapting to the market's needs."
