The new division has designs on local software development projects within the banking and finance industry, as well as other verticals.

“We are tied up with partners such as TCS specifically for Kuwait and Qatar, but we are focusing on the banking industry. We have a complete application on the banking industry, we have core banking systems, Internet and GSM banking systems. Apart from that we also have consultancies for doing an IT infrastructure study for network security applications or databases. So if you re looking at a banking product, we supply right from products to services,” said Shivkumar Gopal, general manager of SMB eSoft.

SMB eSoft claims to be platform agnostic and will rely on its partnerships with, TCS, for example, to bring specific vertical market knowledge to its ventures.
