South African restaurant Walnut Grove opens in Dubai

South African restaurant Walnut Grove has opened its door in Dubai’s Jumeirah district.

The ‘rustic yet authentic’ venue is known to be a favourite among celebrities such as Samuel L Jackson.

Known for its inventive cuisine, it features dishes such as burger classics prepared with a local twist, homemade pasta variations and healthy salads.

Desserts dishes include the Cannonut - a cannoli and donut hybrid – and signature layered Rainbow Cake served alongside in-house coffee blends.

The family-oriented concept also features a kid’s menu couples with children’s entertainment including kid-friendly interactive baking sessions and open bakery experiences.

The Walnut Grove reportedly boasts Africa’s largest crystal chandelier and a tree structure at the core of the restaurant which signifies the ‘importance of family roots.’
